CymaNails™ Science — TCM Nail Diagnosis & Frequency Therapy
The Science Behind CymaNails™
2,000 Years of TCM
Meets Cymatics Frequency Science
How Traditional Chinese Medicine nail diagnosis, Dr. Peter Guy Manners’ cymatics research, and modern AI combine to reveal your organ meridian health through your nails.
TCM Nail Diagnosis
Your Nails Are a Window to Your Organs

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the nails are considered an extension of the tendons, which are governed by the Liver. But every finger and toe is the origin or terminus point of a specific meridian — making the nails a direct diagnostic map of the entire organ system.

A skilled TCM practitioner reads nail colour, lunula presence, ridges, texture, shape and brittleness to assess Liver Blood, Kidney Jing, Spleen Qi, and the state of all 12 major meridians. CymaNails™ brings this 2,000-year-old diagnostic system to your fingertips, powered by AI trained on classical TCM principles.

🔴 Liver Blood Assessment
Nails are the external expression of Liver Blood. Pale, brittle, ridged or thin nails indicate Liver Blood deficiency — the most common pattern in modern clinical TCM practice.
💙 Kidney Jing Indicators
Horizontal ridges (Beau’s lines) and severe brittleness indicate Kidney Jing depletion — deep constitutional deficiency visible in the nail plate structure.
🟡 Spleen Qi — The Lunula
The white half-moon (lunula) at the nail base is the primary indicator of Spleen Qi. Strong, present lunulae indicate good digestive vitality. Absent lunulae = Spleen Qi deficiency.
🟠 Nail Colour Diagnosis
Pale = Blood deficiency · Blue/purple = Blood stasis or cold · Yellow = Damp-Heat · Red = Heat · White spots = Spleen/mineral deficiency · Dark = Blood stasis.
Meridian Mapping
Every Finger — An Organ Meridian

Each finger and toe is the starting or ending point of one of the 12 major organ meridians. These are anatomically mapped pathways verified by 2,000 years of clinical practice and supported by bioelectric research.

Dr. Peter Guy Manners — Cymatics Research
The Science of Resonant Frequency Therapy

Dr. Peter Guy Manners (1912–2009) was a British osteopath and pioneer of acoustic cymatics therapy. Over 50 years of clinical research, he developed a database of precise five-frequency harmonics — called commutation frequencies — that correspond to the healthy resonant signature of every organ and tissue in the human body.

His Cyma 1000 device, used clinically in the UK and Europe, delivered these frequencies directly to tissue via acoustic transduction. CymaTones Online is built from Dr. Manners’ original commutation database — 600+ tracks, each a precise five-frequency harmonic matched to specific organ and tissue health.

The principle: every healthy cell, organ and tissue has a measurable resonant frequency. Disease, deficiency or stagnation represents a departure from this resonance. Delivering the healthy frequency — via sound — supports the tissue’s return to coherent vibration.

CymaTones Frequency Assignments
Nail Findings → Organ Frequencies

When CymaNails™ identifies deficiency, stagnation or imbalance in a nail zone, it selects CymaTones tracks specifically calibrated to the corresponding organ meridian. Your 13-track protocol is generated entirely from your own scan findings.

Liver A / B / C
Liver meridian complex
Primary track for Liver Blood deficiency — the most common pattern seen in nail diagnosis. Targets the Liver’s Blood-storing and Qi-moving functions.
Heart
Heart meridian
Selected when pinky nail indicators show Heart Shen patterns. Supports Heart Blood, Shen clarity and emotional regulation.
Lungs A / B / C
Lung meridian complex
Thumb nail findings drive Lung selection. Supports Lung Qi, Wei Qi (immunity), and the skin-surface Lung function.
Kidneys A / B / C
Kidney meridian complex
Horizontal ridges or severe brittleness indicate Kidney Jing depletion — the deepest deficiency pattern, addressed with Kidney frequencies.
Spleen
Spleen meridian
Absent or diminished lunula is the primary Spleen Qi indicator. Spleen frequencies support digestive transformation and Blood production.
Clear Blockages
Protocol opener
Every protocol opens with Clear Blockages — preparing the meridian system to receive the targeted frequencies that follow.
The 10 Nail Biomarkers
What CymaNails™ Assesses

CymaNails™ AI analyses each nail across 10 biomarkers, each with a specific TCM organ correspondence. Every biomarker is scored 0–100, with deficient scores driving the personalised frequency protocol selection.

🎨
Nail Colour
Most direct Blood and organ heat/cold indicator. Pale = Blood def · Blue = cold/stasis · Yellow = Damp-Heat · Red = Heat excess.
🌙
Lunula Presence
Primary Qi and Spleen vitality indicator. The white half-moon reflects the abundance of Spleen Qi and overall vitality.
📏
Vertical Ridges
Liver Blood and Kidney Jing depletion — chronic constitutional deficiency, often worsening with age and stress.
〰️
Horizontal Ridges
Beau’s lines indicate acute Qi/Blood disruption from past illness, trauma, severe stress or Kidney Jing depletion.
🔬
Surface Texture
Smooth nails = Blood abundance. Rough, pitted or irregular surface = Qi stagnation or Blood deficiency pattern.
💪
Strength & Brittleness
Brittle, thin, peeling nails = Liver Blood unable to nourish the nail plate. Primary Liver Blood indicator.
Spots & Markings
White spots = mineral/Spleen deficiency · Yellow = Damp-Heat · Dark spots or streaks = Blood stasis pattern.
🧮
Nail Bed Separation
Onycholysis = Liver/thyroid pattern or fungal Damp-Heat. Assessed for degree and location across all nails.
🌿
Cuticle Health
Lung Qi governs the skin surface. Ragged, dry or inflamed cuticles reflect Lung Wei Qi deficiency.
📐
Nail Shape
Constitutional indicator — wide/fan = Wood · narrow/curved = Water · short/wide = Earth · long/oval = Fire · square = Metal.
